Friends: Kyle and Gretchen :) :)

Eating for 2

Aunt Therese and Meg

The Master Chefs!

The guys...

The Girls...

And more girls...

Somehow, I managed not to get a picture of the hosts...ahh!
The shower was very lovely. The dinner was delicious, the weather was beautiful, and the fellowship was refreshing. As tradition holds, the Couple Game was played. The unfortunate thing is that I don't know that we scored any better now after being married for 2 years, than we did as an engaged couple...Guess we need to brush up on eachother's trivia. :) The winners: Sisters (Leah and Therese) won.

Picnic at the Park

My favorite thing to watch is Justin and Samuel walking hand in hand. My second favorite thing is to hear them cracking up about something--just btwn. the two of them. The father/son relationship is something so special and I'm blessed to be able to witness my husband taking action in that role and shepherding his little son.

Nothing like being almost 8 mo. pregnant and riding the merry-go-round! The baby liked it!

Samuel was a very enthusiastic recipient of a new football from the elderly park caretakers. Nothing like a little boy and his football!

A delectable treat to round off the Saturday afternoon excursion! Hot Fudge Milkshakes--unbeatable!!

More Than Conquerors~

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded that, neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Bridal Shower:

The Hostess w/ the mostest! Krista's lovely bridal shower was given by Aunt Therese and Chloe'
I love bridal showers...esp. when they're for someone else. Too fun! (How come we still dress alike, even when we don't live together anymore???)

My hilarious aunt always comes up w/ great gift ideas. Here is Krista and George's new grocery cart...since they will be living closer to the grocery store than the parking garage. Ha! Stay posted for some real-life footage of the 1st grocery store excursion~
