More Celebrating

~~All in all, it was a weekend rich in fellowship, memories, and food~~

The Grandpa's enjoying a little afternoon sugar-rush ;) Every birthday is a celebration, but especially your 73rd one!

The "untouchable" getting a side hug from her beloved bro-in-law and well, there's Therese too (but she's unlike the stiff Miller-side: she's a hugger:)

Me, chatting away, oblivious to the fact that my goofy husband was trying to Wow someone w/ his manliness.

Ah, there...that's more like it!

Relaxing w/ the fam at George and Krista's

Eva: the volunteer to blow out the candles for Grandpa Harvey's Birthday! (Also: How to pass germs around the family. The blowing was a little wet--ha!) I think Isaac chimed in at the end to extinguish all the flames.

Grandma Annette and William

Aunts are pretty fun to have around! Eh?

Therese and Samuel

Out for a sumptuous lunch at the Grande Lux Restaurant downtown. (All 16+ of us!)

Two buddy boys..soon to be joined by a few more (maybe?!)

More Wedding

And last but NOT least! The happy couple: Kyle and Gretchen
They did A LOT of this after the ceremony! (but, hey, they're married and it IS legal ;)

Samuel enjoying his cake. If utensils fail, just eat it w/ your hands.

William and "Nans"

The sisters that keep on growing!

Some cute couples:

Two lovely ladies :)

Leah getting attacked!

Look at that adorable tummy!

The sweetest gal helped us out during the ceremony by watching the boys. (Justin was a groomsman and I was playing) They had fun playing w/ all the toys. :)

The Wedding:

Auntie lovin' William

Me and my honey :) Attending weddings are always so fun b/c they bring back so many memories and feelings. Plus a good reminder of what my role is as helper to my husband.

Readin' the same stuff!

Meg's:

"Too many times we unwittingly soak up the pollution of the world because our spirits are empty of God's Word. We therefore find ourselves ruled by our flesh rather than by the Spirit of the living God." -taken from Passionate Housewives Desperate for God

Justin's:
"If a man does not fortify His mind with the Word of God, He will be influenced by the worldly philosophies to which he is constantly exposed." -Richard Fugate-

Funny how we were reading 2 different books, and the same thing stuck out to both of us. I love it that Justin leaves me scriptures/quotes/love notes for me to find when I wake up.

Our Valentine's Dinner

~The Valentine's table~for my sweethearts! Three years ago, I only had 1 and now I have 3 1/2! Justin brought home treats including flowers, new pjs, and some comfy slippers. I still remember our 1st Valentine's we were actually a "couple" and had just started courting. We were still pretty guarded and a little bit "awkward" toward each other...anyway, we bought eachother the exact same V-day card! Too funny! I think that was the same V-day that the girls made us our own candlelight dinner down in the basement for 2. Funny how that seems like ages ago!

Samuel learning to serve others, then himself (While I was taking a picture, he took a big lick of Justin's piece) Ha!

I was thinking of Emily while we made this dessert today! I love the Texas Sheet Cake Recipe so much...we just took a cookie cutter to the cake pan! Melt-in-your- mouth-delic!
