Sunshine, Sand, and Water

Some more pictures of our memory making with Samuel, William, and Madeline...

We went to a couple different beaches. Bowman's Beach was VERY windy and pretty chilly!

Samuel and Madeline ended up getting sick, as well. We had one trip to the Emergency Room late one night, but, all's well that end's well. Madeline was the most puny, pretty fussy, and slept a lot. I suppose the sunshine helped, though. Here she is sitting on the bed, playing w/ sunglasses, while the boys took naps.

We found several live starfish.

We went to Captiva Island to eat at the Bubble Room. It was a very colorful, quirky place, that kept the boys entertained. They didn't eat much, but they stayed interested. The boys even got a huge slab of cake, just for being cute. ;)

The boys met a little friend, Justin, from Canada. They had fun playing w/ him!

William was scared and curious of the coconut that washed ashore.

Justin took me and the kids out to a nice seafood restaurant for my 26th birthday. Thankfully the kids behaved like a dream, the food was delicious, and the desert, excellente'! That was a great birthday gift!
My hubby went shopping while the kids napped. He brought back a beautifully wrapped small box...I like those kinds of gifts! He picked out a white-gold sand dollar necklace...it's very pretty. ;) He as good taste.

All in all, we had a wonderful time w/ great memories. We did decide to wait a few more years before we go on a vacation again. ;) Or, better yet, we'll just bring a nanny and photographer w/ next time.
