Keep trying!

I keep trying to upload pictures from the last couple weeks. For some reason, blogger is not letting me. So anyway...we've been busy! Hopefully there will be a picture post soon! For now, I'm freezing zuchinni puree for the freezer. The kids are down...for now. Better go get my stuff done!

Zuchinni Puree?? Is that for the baby or a way to sneek greens to the family without them knowing? :)

zuchinni puree is what i make out of the big zuchinni boats. it seems like those grow overnight! i use the puree in zuchinni bread/cake in the winter. i have also noticed a bunch of good recipes w/ zuch. in them...i should post this delicious chocolate zuchinni cake recipe i have.

I was about to ask the same question as MrsM. I made the zuchinni cake from The Pioneer Woman's site (which I found through yours') and it was really good! Fattening but good. We too grow zuchinni's and I am always looking for ways to use these babies up. I would love to hear how you make your puree and how exactly you use it. ~Tami

You should post some pictures from the early days of Eden String Quartet?...do you still play as a group much?

it's not too technical...i just put chuncks of zuchinni into the food processor and turn it on. I process them till it's like shredded coconut...not too mushy. Then I put a couple of cups into a qt size freezer bag and freeze! Then I can use the zuchinni in the winter for cookies, cake, bread...I just saw a recipe w/ zuchinni in Fettuccini Alfredo. I might give that one a try.
