Fun Weekend

Justin's family came down this past weekend for a cookout and hayride. We had a good time seeing everyone! Thanks for making the trip, ya'll!! :) We'll have to make it an annual event! Here's most of us, getting ready to go on a hayride.

I have lots more pictures to post, but I desperately need to go get my laundry started. (Mondays are my catch-up-on-everything day...) To be continued...

Hi! I was hoping you could help me-I totally need ideas for where to find cute clothes that are modest and tall! I read somewhere on your blog that you are like 5'9 or so like me...it seems like everything is too short and small for me!
If you have store names or online clothes stores or whatever you can give me I so appreciate it. Thank you soooo much!! Especially skirts-everything I try on hits too far above the knee to be comfortably modest. : )
You have a beautiful family. Way to go!

Hello there Nan,

Well, I haven't bought non-maternity clothes for a while...Eddie Bauer, JC Penny, Gap, Maurices--those stores carry talls. You can check online, since they often have sales. Oh, also Coldwater Creek has lots of skirts.

Clothes, esp. modest and tall sizes, are sometimes hard to find and usually pretty expensive. There's a store called Plato's Closet that carries some talls. It's a 2nd hand store, so it's kinda hit and miss. I have to be kidless and in the "mood" for shopping at that kind of store, though. :)

I've found come cute shirts for fall at Maurices...I just put a camisole/tank thingy underneath to make it modest. I have to be more careful w/ shirts b/c I'm constantly bending down w/ the little guys.

Hope that helps. I've decided I do NOT like to shop. I almost made a whole post about that a few weeks ago! :) ~Meg~

Oh and a P.S. to my other comment--You sound exactly like my mom w/ shopping!! She does all online shopping and any time I go she waits in the car for me. : )
